TORRANCE, Calif., December 3, 2018 — LEDtronics® announces its latest series of tunable, multimode LED troffer luminaires with selectable wattage and white
color temperature. The UL-listed troffers feature standby dimming, as well as
an adjustable occupancy/daylight sensor.
Available in 2x2 and 2x4 ft sizes, the “CLT” series of tunable LED recessed troffer lights are ideal replacements
for standard drop-ceiling troffer and parabolic fixtures in recessed
luminaires. Their slim profile fits seamlessly into standard dropped troffer
and parabolic fixtures in most T-bar ceilings to deliver adjustable ambient lighting
for interior spaces.
Offering the flexibility to customize wattage in 5 watt increments and
adjust color temperature from 3000 Kelvin (warm white) to 5000 Kelvin (pure
white), these recessed troffers have the capability to provide desired ambiance
in an industrial or commercial space. Occupancy and ambient light sensing
increase visual comfort and energy savings in offices, retail spaces, hotels,
resorts, conferences rooms, classrooms, and healthcare
environments.
The Title 24 compliant troffers also feature a fully adjustable occupant and
daylight sensor, as well as standby dimming level and time period. They also
offer the option of external 0-10V dimmers (separate from programmed standby
dimming).
The tunable LED recessed troffers are offered in wattage ranges of 20-35w
for the 2x2 and 35-50w for the 2x4 size. They operate within a voltage range of
100-277VAC, delivering a total light output ranging from 2677 lumens at 20
watts, to 6478 lumens at 50 watts.
The luminaires offer energy savings of up to 75 percent over fluorescent
fixtures and tubes. As an example, a LEDtronics 2x2 ft troffer luminaire at 35
watts replaces fixtures with two to three 32W fluorescent T8 tubes, while the 2x4
ft at 50 watts replaces fixtures with four 32W T8 fluorescent tubes.
Additionally, the minimal lamp heat output of LEDs over that produced by
fluorescent tubes keeps temperatures in offices and hallways optimally lower,
saving building air-conditioning costs.
The solid-state design of the “CLT” LED troffer lights renders them
impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental
extremes, while RoHS compliance ensures they are free of toxic metals such as
lead or mercury. Their LM80-rated SMD LEDs provide high-lumen and high-CRI
uniform illumination in a 120° wide beam, free of UV/IR radiation or RF
interference.
In addition to directly replacing fluorescent troffers in most standard
recessed T-bar ceilings, the LEDtronics CLT luminaire series can also be
surface mounted with optional aluminum surface mounting frames, or ceiling
suspended with optional steel wire cables.
