TORRANCE, Calif., July 17, 2007 -- R30 LED reflector floodlight bulbs from LEDtronics
combine LED technology, a standard 25-mm Edison base and a light-optimizing design
to produce vivid light.
The direct-incandescent replacement bulbs are available in five light-emitting
angles (15°, 20°, 30°, 40° and 95°) and in 120 V AC. Other
voltages -- from 12 to 240 V, AC or DC -- are also available. With a power draw
of only 4.5 W, the bulbs offer cost savings over using 65-W incandescent R30s.

K, cool white 8000 K, 633-nm red, 592-nm yellow, 525-nm aqua freen and 470-nm
blue. Infrared lamps are offered in wavelengths of 850, 880 and 940 nm.
R30 LED bulbs are designed to perform well in systems subjected to voltage
dips or surges. Integrated current-limited resistors make circuit modifications
unnecessary.
The bulbs are a practical and economical way for architects, display designers,
visual merchandisers, entertainment designers and other lighting professionals
to integrate ornamental illumination into what were formerly maintenance-intensive
applications. An LED cluster lamp continues to provide light even if one or
more emitters fail -- unlike when a filament fails in an incandescent bulb.
No colored lenses or filters are needed, since LEDs emit colored light determined
by the composition of the semiconductor material that comprises the diode. Intensity
and color remain stable over the lamp's life. Solid-state design protects LEDs
from electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching or environmental
extremes. With an average lifespan of 100,000-plus hours -- up to 50,000 hours
for white LEDs -- they are reliable and appropriate for many applications.
The R30 bulbs have a three-year warranty. Prices are from $82.74 to $154.74
each, with large-quantity discounts available.
