Torrance, Calif. — LEDtronics has introduced a 5-mm (T1-3/4) standard dome
aqua green LED. The LD200-0AG-15D LED may be used in a variety of applications
as individual pixels in a large dot matrix screen, full color screens, moving
signs, displays, mini lamps, standard electrical-based bulbs, pushbutton switches,
telecommunications/data products, medical equipment lighting, and other backlighting
applications.
This water-clear lens, 525-nm aqua green LED with a narrow 15-degree viewing
angle integrates an Indium gallium nitride (InGaN) diode with optical-grade
epoxy to produce a 28,000 mcd illumination at 20 mA that is visible even in
direct sunlight, said LEDtronics.
