LEDtronics Releases New Dimmable PAR30 LED Bulbs
25-SEP-09

LEDtronics® announces the latest additions to its series of energy-efficient replacements for PAR30-style light bulbs. The high-power Dimmable PAR30 is available in Halogen Warm White (2700 to 2800 Kelvin) and Warm White (3200K). These Dimmable PAR30 LED bulbs offer long-lasting durability, low power consumption and money savings. They run on standard 120 volts AC, requiring no special adapters, while only consuming 12 watts to a maximum of 15 watts.

These Dimmable LED PAR30 bulbs work with most standard 120 VAC dimmer units, offering a full, smooth dimming range and directly replace standard halogens and metal halide bulbs up to 66 watts, providing a 75% energy savings on full brightness.

In addition, the Dimmable PAR30 series boasts an outstanding color quality, a focused beam of around 45 degrees, powerful 426 lumens (XIW) and 375 (XHW) lumens of brightness, easy drop-in installation in existing 26mm Edison or E27 European screw-in base sockets, and sturdy construction with UV-stabilized plastic lens over each of the five 3-watt, high-power Cree XR-E LEDs, encapsulated around a heat-sinking magnesium alloy housing.

These economical, high-quality floodlights are perfect in track lighting, security and emergency lights, general/architectural and landscape lighting, display case fixtures and cabinet lighting, signage and back lighting, aviation/aerospace lighting systems, industrial OEM equipment lighting, bio-medical and medical applications, museums or theatrical-effects lighting.

The maintenance-free LEDtronics Dimmable PAR30 series comes with CE safety assurance and is RoHS certified—it adheres to strict European guidelines concerning the Reduction of Hazardous Substances such as lead and mercury. Since it produces no harmful UV or IR radiation, it reduces light pollution, and it is compatible with the international “Dark Skies” initiative.
