SpiderLED Hi-Flux
Overview

SpiderLED is a solid-state, high shock/vibration resistant LED light source that exceeds the demanding requirements of the Avionics/Aerospace, trucking, Rail Road and automotive industry. SpiderLED Hi-Flux offers a low profile, low thermal resistance package and is designed for high current applications operating between 20 mA to 70 mA. SpiderLED is ideal for applications requiring wide viewing angles of 65 or 85 degrees and is available in super bright red as well as Hyper red, super orange and yellow high intensity colors.

Selling Advantages
The low profile body height (.16" or 4.4mm height) and (.300" or 7.62 mm square) SpiderLED design eliminates the cluster of LED’s and the large surface area typically required by incandescent light bulbs to illuminate the same viewing angles in transportation and display sign lighting. This advancement saves the manufacturer valuable material on lenses and body molding. Using SpiderLED for brake lights offer 2/10th the response time over incandescent bulbs which translates to about 15 feet extra stopping distance at 55 mph. SpiderLED offers the designer more flexibility because multiple SpiderLED’s can be aligned together to fit small and large illumination applications and can be shaped (using the proper lens) to provide 3D illumination effects.
Applications
The SpiderLED Hi-Flux LED offers a cost effective solution and is ideal for exterior and interior, Avionics/Aerospace status indicators, Trucking and Rail Road pathlighting and automotive lighting. More and more combustion and electric automobile manufactures are using LEDs as the preferred third rear brake light, turn signals and side marker light sources. The SpiderLED is the perfect solution for hard to reach and inaccessible lighting housings, display signs and backlighting of graphic signs.
