On May 27th, Mayor Jerry Jennings officially lit the NEW Palace Theatre Marquee!
On the left are two pictures of the Palace Theater marquee in Albany, New York.
This marquee was restored back to a circa 1930's style marquee. The actual sign
was fabricated by Pattison Sign Co. in Calgary Canada and then installed in
Albany in the past couple of months.
This sign uses 3,600 of our DEC-S14L-2IW-120AM lamps in all of the border trim
as well as the PALACE name. The restoration committee wanted the circa 1930's
look and at the same time wanted to use the latest technology to insure the
lowest level of energy consumption and the longest life possible. Therefore
LED's were a natural choice.
