LEDtronics introduces Series TSF780 Panel Mount LED Lamps and
Holders. They are designed to replace T2 incandescent
telephone-slide based lamps in miniature utility switches, industrial
control panels and other applications that demand durable and
energy-efficient light sources. Series TSF780 panel mount LED
lamps and holders fit space-restricted control panels and tight
operating budgets alike. While intended as integrated assemblies
(incorporating the lens, lamp and lamp holder), the relampable TSF780
Series may be purchased as separate components. With behind-the-panel
depths of .935-inches (23.7mm) and 1.4-inches (35.6) mm respectively,
TSF780 Series units are excellent solutions for applications where
space is at a premium. TSF780 Series fits into mounting panel hole
diameter of 0.69 inch (17.8mm).
To withstand the rigors of
industrial environments, Series TSF780 panel mount assemblies
incorporate polycarbonate-threaded lens, black polyester holder and
mounting hex nut, and nickel-plated brass terminals. The lens
facilitates viewing and light dispersion. Series TSF780 feature
quick-connect prongs or solder terminals. Lens option is tinted-clear
fluted cylindrical lens. The telephone-slide LED lamps are rated for
incoming voltages of 24/28Volts DC or 120Volts AC. Integrated
current-limited resistors assure that no circuit modifications are
required. Sunlight visible, LEDs are available in red (660nm), orange
(612nm), yellow (595nm), aqua green (525nm), blue (470nm) and white
(8000k).
With an average LED life span of 100,000-plus hours (10 years), LEDs
operate reliably year-after-year. Solid-state design renders LEDs
impervious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent
switching and environmental fluctuation. Integrated current-limited
resistors prevent short-circuiting. LED lamps use only 10% - 20% of
the energy consumed by equivalent incandescent lamps that when
combined with their maintenance-free operation results in substantial
cost savings.
