TORRANCE, Calif., January 28, 2025 — Entering its 42nd year of expertise in and commitment to advancing LED technology, LEDtronics® announces an upgraded new series of “paddle-style” LED lamps that can be directly retrofitted into existing area lighting fixtures and are usable in enclosed luminaires.
With a simple screw-in and ballast bypass, these lamps replace traditional MH or HPS lamps and make switching to LED lighting easier and more affordable than ever, while continuing to use current lighting fixtures, such as “cobrahead” street lights, “shoebox” luminaires, canopies or wall packs for outdoor and covered parking areas, driveway and walkway lighting, security flood lighting, and more.
In addition, this ETL-Listed LEDtronics series of versatile retrofit LED lamps features the flexibility of tunable wattage — easily switchable 30, 45 and 60 watts for the LEDRA36T model; 75, 95 and 115 watts for the LEDRA44T model.
They operate on a wide range of voltages, from 100 to 277VAC, and boast an outstanding color quality, with uniform high brightness ranging from 5,924 to 20,460 lumens, depending on the model and selected wattage, offering even lighting up to 155 degrees wide, a pure-white color temperature of 5000K, and a color-rendering index greater than 80. The maximum candela output ranges from 2,215 to 5,693. A power factor of 0.99 to 1.0 supplies constant-current power at any selection.
Other CCT colors, such as 3000K and 4000K, and other wattages are optionally available for qualified volume offers.
The new “paddle-style” retrofit lamps are designed to be installed at a right angle, but they feature an adjustable E39 mogul base that is capable of rotating 360 degrees, allowing the lamp to be pointed in any desired direction. A rotary base lock guarantees a fixed position, while an included harness further improves safety.
The lamps feature a die-cast aluminum housing in black, with high thermal conductivity; a polycarbonate Type III lens; an internal certified driver and an internal fan. The units are compact and lightweight, making the installation even easier. They offer energy savings of up to 85 percent over HID counterparts, and have a Lumen Maintenance of over 70 percent at over 30,000 hours!
The solid-state, rugged design of the new LEDtronics LEDRA bulbs renders them impervious to electrical/mechanical shock and vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. They operate in a flexible temperature range of -25°C to +55°C (-13°F ~ +131°F) while producing no UV or RF interference, low IR and minimal heat.
The LEDtronics ETL-listed “paddle-style” LED Lamps LEDRA36T-XPW-103A and LEDRA44T-XPW-103A come with an unconditional 5-year U.S. factory warranty. The series is available through LEDtronics distributors, and quantity discounts are available.
