TORRANCE, Calif., April 4, 2025 — LEDtronics® announces a brand new series of Tunable LED Retrofit Kits with adjustable wattage and color temperature! These ETL-listed units can be directly retrofitted into existing area lighting fixtures. With a simple screw-in and ballast bypass, these energy-saving lamp kits make switching to LED easier, environmentally friendly and more affordable than ever!
The versatile LEDRK0B series retrofit LED kits allow customers to keep their current lighting fixture, whether to preserve a historical look or follow certain architectural guidelines. They can be directly retrofitted into existing large outdoor area light fixtures, such as street lights, shoebox luminaires, canopies, and wall packs, while replacing existing MH/HPS/HID/MHL/CFL lamps.
They are the ideal kits for a multitude of applications, such as area flood lights, garage lights, high bay lighting in factories, warehouses, indoor arenas, convention centers, parking lots, depots, roadways and streetlights, parks, security lighting, wall washing, driveway and walkway lighting, billboard lights, and others.
Added to the flexibility of retrofitting installation is the freedom of choosing the power and white color temperature combination with a simple switch module in the back of the units. They all feature a tunable CCT of 3000K/4000K/5000K, with a choice of 100~277VAC or 277~480VAC. The LEDRK01B models feature adjustable wattage of 60W/100W/120W/150W, and the LEDRK03B models feature adjustable wattage of 240W/300W/400W/480W. They all offer energy savings of up to 80 percent over replaced HID lamps.
All of these new LEDtronics round retrofit kits provide a wide 120-degree light distribution, boasting a color rendering index greater than 80. Depending on the model and selected wattage/CCT combo used, they provide uniform high brightness ranging from 10,825 to 84,590 lumens. The maximum candela output ranges from 3,676 to 29,395. A power factor of 0.99 to 1.0 supplies constant-current power at any selection.
The units come with an E26 medium Edison base that can be rotated 360 degrees for maximum installation flexibility; an E39 Mogul adapter is also included. Adding to the ease of positioning in any desired direction are the adjustable aluminum alloy brackets that rotate 180 degrees and are lighter than comparative lights.
The air-exchange cooling system features a white die-cast aluminum heatsink and four aluminum fans in the rear that speed up heat dissipation. The units operate in a wide temperature range of -40 to +113 degrees Fahrenheit (-40°C ~ +45°C), while producing no UV radiation or RF interference, low IR, and minimal heat.
These ETL/cETL-listed round retrofit LED kits are compact and comparatively lightweight, making the installation even easier. They have lumen maintenance of over 70 percent at over 50,000 hours (well over five years)! Their solid-state construction renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching, and environmental extremes.
Options are available for qualified volume offers: E26 or E39 dead-socket base mounting, L-shaped bracket, and an adjustable wattage of 150W/200W/240W/300W.
